Recent Work - Amy's "something blue" cotton wedding dress

The use of "alternative" materials for bridal gowns is really gaining momentum at the moment and I'm often receiving enquiries about cotton gowns.   Not only does it make the price of the gown that little bit more affordable but they are also lovely breathable garments that you can even wash yourself after the big day instead of the $300+ dry cleaning bill that most cleaners charge as soon as you say the words "wedding dress"!

Recently I had the pleasure of working with the gorgeous Amy on her one of a kind cotton wedding dress.  She was having a small "destination wedding" back in her home town of Newcastle and wanted something a bit fun and casual.  The other request that she had was something blue!   So after having a play around with some fabrics she was sold on the pale blue cotton underneath a white swiss dot voile.  To make the outfit pop we went for an all white belt around the waist.

While she awaits her professional shots, Amy sent these sneak peeks through that I just had to share!
