At the end of last year I was lucky enough to get to work with a gorgeous Toowoomba bride, Katie. Her dream was a simple but elegant country wedding with a bit of a 1960s flair to it. We worked together to create an oh so cute 60s inspired dupion silk and organza short wedding dress with a touch of lace trim that I just love!! To complete the look I also created a puff style flower for her hair which I didn't realise until seeing her wedding pictures absolutely matched her paper flower balls that were hanging at the ceremony and reception.
Katie and Josh's photographers Matt and Katie have put together the most amazing blog about the day with some lovely pictures including all of the hand made touches that the bride Katie went to so much trouble to do herself. Who would have thought the most simple of old halls could look so stunning when put in the hands of a creative mind!!
I have included some of my favourite pics of Katie in her gorgeous dress but be sure to click over to her photographers blog to see the entire wedding for some wonderful vintage / handmade inspiration!!!!
