Woodlands of Marburg is hidden away up on a hill overlooking the Marburg Valley and is pretty much half way between Brisbane and Toowoomba. This grand old home was built in 1890 and recently restored to it's former glory for all of us to enjoy!
For more intimate weddings Woodlands of Marburg has two restored dining rooms with lovely red cedar walls and chandeliers.
It is spaces like the sandstone cellar that I absolutely love.... what a gorgeous candlelit reception you could hold in this area!
There is also a larger dining space as well as a marquee on site for larger weddings.
A recent addition to Woodlands of Marburg is their very own wedding chapel for those who would like a traditional feel to their ceremony.
Although I don't think you can go past it's lovely grounds for a lovely garden wedding.
Imagine rolling up the long driveway in your vintage car to be greeted by all of your friends and family with the grand old home as the backdrop to all of your wedding photos!... I love it!!
Not only does Woodlands of Marburg offer a great location for both wedding ceremonies and receptions but they also have accommodation onsite and a restaurant that is open to the public on limited days. There is also a cellar door so what a perfect excuse to go and check out the venue for your upcoming wedding and stock up your wine cellar at the same time!!
