Just in are some pictures from my gorgeous bride Amanda's wedding in Toowoomba about a month ago. Like so many of my Toowoomba brides, Amanda was good enough to come down every week for fittings for several weeks for her beautiful wedding dress.
Amanda had fallen in love with one of Clarissa Grace's wedding dresses but unfortunately that business was closing down so Amanda and I worked together to come up with the perfect gown for her, very much inspired by the rustic style of Clarissa Grace.
Amanda's gown was made from double sided silk satin with a blush coloured velvet ribbon sewn around the drop waist. She was also fortunate enough to nab one of Clarissa Grace's large flowers in their closing down sale that could be pinned to her dress to tie in with the velvet ribbon. Around the V neck bodice were 3 layers of varying widths of silk georgette flounces which wrapped around to a low scoop back.
For extra detail and a little 1940s style was a godet in the back of the skirt made from several layers of silk georgette flounces. All of the flounce details on her gown were left unfinished to give a soft fraying look - this really added to the rustic feel of her gown and looked simply stunning.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Shelton!!!
